castelbrando

Specialità Hausbrandt and Theresianer were chosen to be served at the opening dinner of “Gran Giallo a Castelbrando”, this evening, 7 June, at CastelBrando (TV). Today is the first day of the 4th annual literary competition for unpublished works and other works of the mystery genre that feature compelling plots: enigmatic mysteries in which the investigator relies solely on his or her acumen to uncover obscure clues, action-filled mysteries with chases and gunfights, police mysteries that describe real police methods, suspenseful mysteries that describe fear in all of its nuances, and dark mysteries in which the protagonist is the criminal.

Previous winners of the competition, which is promoted by the CastelBrando Cultural Centre, include the Italian-Austrian journalist Patty Durath Cooper and Toi Bianca, while a new writer won the competition the third year. Guests at the event will include established journalists like Laura Aprati of RAI, Lanfranco Vaccari of Il Sole 24 Ore and Stefano Polli of ANSA, as well as author Claudio Adolfo Martigli.

The thrillers will be savoured while sipping a coffee that was chosen because of the exceptional tradition, attention to detail, research and high quality that go into every single cup – Hausbrandt coffee. This outstanding coffee will be accompanied by another product that expresses the enlightened entrepreneurial philosophy of Martino Zanetti – Theresianer beer, an exquisitely artisanal beer with a rich flavour. An exceptional event, excellent Hausbrandt beverages and an atmospheric setting – all the makings of a tasteful and suspenseful evening.
