Gran Ballo d’Estate

Following the success of the Sissi Ball last year, Hausbrandt is returning to Brancaccio Palace, one of the most prestigious palaces of the Roman aristocracy. The company is a technical sponsor of the new Summer Ball, a fancy dress ball to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Giuseppe Verdi.

The aroma of coffee is in the air, as inviting as a promise, wafting through the rooms among the more than 100 guests in 19th century dress from various European capitals and Italian cities.

Between dances, guests can enjoy a cup of coffee, fully savouring its flavour, aroma and sensations. The most outstanding coffee is the exquisite Academia blend, a full-bodied coffee with a smooth, intense flavour, long-lasting crema and fruity aftertaste.

Organized in collaboration with Gaia Valenti, a descendent of Giuseppe Verdi, the evening will be enhanced with a preview of the “Popular Trilogy” on three televisions. These will appear, along with 12 others, at a retrospective exhibition promoted by Giorgio Napolitano, the President of the Republic, beginning 10 October at the Altare della Patria in Rome. Music and dancing with a Verdi theme, including a delightful previously unperformed work.
