Vienna. The Coffeehouse Owners’ Ball, with its refined setting imbued with a familiar atmosphere, is one of the most anticipated events of the ball season. On 18th January 2018 the imperial halls of the Viennese Hofburg will turn once again into the world’s most beautiful coffeehouse.
For the fifth time in a row, the exclusive Hausbrandt coffee brand will be one of the main sponsors of the ball. Again this year, the Zanetti family, owner of the brand, will collaborate with the “Most Innovative Bartender of 2016” (Falstaff festival): Markus Altrichter. In line with the ball’s theme for this year (“Viennese Modernism”), Altrichter has drawn inspiration from Gustav Klimt to create GOLDKUSS (“Golden Kiss”), an exclusive cocktail specifically designed by the bartender for the ball. The base ingredients are the new Hausbrandt product, that is Cold Brew Coffee (Ethiopia Sidamo), and the much beloved Case Bianche Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry.
Hausbrandt and especially the Zanetti family really care about supporting the Viennese coffeehouse owners and their ball. At the Hausbrandt bar, which will be very close to the festival hall, guests will be able to taste the GOLDKUSS cocktail as well as the traditional Hausbrandt Espresso and Case Bianche Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry.
