Hausbrandt is asserting its reputation for quality as a technical sponsor for the Juniors World Pastry-making Championship, the Seniors Italian Championship and the Juniors Italian Championship at the 34th Annual SIGEP (International Artisanal Ice Cream, Pastry and Bread Show) scheduled for 19 to 23 January 2013 in Rimini.

The heart of the Pastry Events at SIGEP 2013 is the Juniors World Pastry-making Championship. In this event, young contestants from 5 continents will expose their passion, determination, ambition and professionalism, including great technical skills and creative ability, to the scrutiny of the great masters who comprise the international jury.

Figures that the young professionals can learn from, including Master pastry chefs, colleagues, professional operators and representatives from exceptional companies like Hausbrandt, will be on hand. Hausbrandt will provide its selection of single origin blends for the CAFFE’ FROZEN competition. Participants can choose the single origin coffee that they feel most appropriate for pairing with ice cream: Santos Frozen NY2 Brazil, Ethiopia Sidamo, Kenya AA, India Spicy Powder, Guatemala Althea and Costarica Brisamar.

The company has always displayed a strong interest in the sophisticated world of pastry-making and has collaborated with leading figures in the sector, including Iginio Massari, founder of the Italian Academy of Master Pastry Makers and Honorary President of the jury for the show. This event provides a unique opportunity for future international leaders in the sector to meet one another and grow professionally.
